Classroom Practice: TO NOT DO LIST

I will not do these things:

I will not remove students from my classroom unless there is physical violence, or grossly and continuous unacceptable disrespect of other students, or myself. A simple "fuck you teacher" will not be sufficient grounds for removal.

I will not yell at students.

I will never shame students.

I will not be sarcastic even when I really really want to, and will try to be sensitive to the fact that I am quite naturally a sarcastic person.

I will not assign a ton of homework.

I will not play favorites, even if I really like a kid.

I will not take my student's comments personally.

I will not allow students to disrespect each other in any way.

I will not tolerate bullies.

I will not answer my own questions - EVER!!!
